John Child was a great technician. Very knowledgeable and patient. He walked us through all the issues and carefully explained his service. Showed up on time as promised and was clean and neat. What a refreshing contractor experience. We would definitely hire them again!
SOS has been incredible to work with. I called them on the hottest day of the year to come see why my air conditioning was not working. They came the very next day, and texted me when they were on their way to my home. They assessed the issue, gave me a bid, and booked to install the next day. The installers we very nice and were able to complete the work within a few hours. They cleaned up (well, mostly) and took all the old furnace parts with them when they left.Within a week of the install, the a/c again stopped working. I texted them at 10 PM last night and they had a service technician at my home in the morning. He was very knowledgeable, and figured the issue out and made the necessary adjustments to the system.I would highly recommend SOS Heating & Cooling to anyone. I priced new equipment before calling and they were below what I had expected to pay. They credited the initial service call to my bill, and did not charge me for the second service call. I will definitely call them again when I need this type of service.Review Update - 06-03-2024I called SOS again to replace my 19 year old A/C unit. They again came out the very next day and looked everything over and gave me a quote. I didn't even check around to see if it was competitive because they gave me the return customer discount. They had technicians onsite within 3 business days, and the install was completed within a few hours. The workmanship was outstanding, and all the old parts were taken away. Excellent experience once again. I still highly recommend them for all your heating and cooling needs.
I rarely leave reviews, but these guys were so fabulous that I want to. The after-hours evening phone call was encouraging. Though I had to call the next day as a follow-up and left a message, it was returned quickly. The technician who came out was superb, and determined what the problem was. He was very respectful, explaining and showing me everything he was doing along the way and why. His recommendations and suggestions were to encourage the best conditions for the life of my heater and air conditioner. Options were given for repairs and replacements, but I thankfully didn't feel I was dealing with a salesman. In the end, the prices were great, and everyone was direct, fair, if not generous, and honest. I genuinely felt they cared for me as an individual. I will be using SOS again and referring others as well. Thank you.
I called S.O.S because my furnace refused to go on. Cory Laughter came out promptly and confirmed what I already knew, that I needed a new furnace. I appreciated the notifications letting me know when he was going to arrive, and when he was on his way. Cory was great to work with, and when I decided which brand of furnace to get, he went the extra mile to get it installed the same day. A shout out to Colby and Mason for the great job they did on the install, and to Ashley for her help in getting the warranty info I needed. It’s a great company, focused on providing great customer service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. Their 5 star ratings are well deserved.
